BLINK's Link Template feature streamlines the link and QR code creation process by providing predefined templates with assigned attributes, ensuring consistency and efficiency. These templates guarantee that every link and QR code is properly structured and trackable, enhancing your marketing and analytics efforts.

Enter a name for your template in the Template Name field. Then, enter a description in Template Description.
You may choose to assign a Default QR Template. This is optional. If a user creates a link using the new template with a default QR template assigned, the default will automatically be displayed when downloading the QR code from the Link Details.

You may also designate is certain attributes are required or optional within the template. If they are required, anyone who uses the template must fill in the attribute value. If they are optional, there will be an option to leave them blank.
From here, you may drag and drop the attributes to change the order they are displayed in. To add an attribute to the template, click on the Required checkbox. You may also define a default value for custom attributes that are associated with a link template.
To define a default value for a text attribute, simply type in the value to the text box. To define a value for a picklist or checkbox attribute, click on the drop-down and select the value(s) that should be set as defaults.

Once you have finished entering default values for the link template, click Create to save the new template. Once created, the link template will display for all users when they create a new link.
Adding QR templates to Link Templates
We offer two options to add your QR templates to your link templates.
When creating or editing a link template, you can add Available QR Templates to restrict which QR templates users can select when creating links with that template. Users will only see the QR templates you have included. You can add as many QR templates as needed.
Once you have selected the Available QR Templates, you can designate one as the Default QR Code for the link template. This default option will be preselected when users attach a QR code to a link.
The Default QR Code will be preselected as the first choice for users creating links with that link template. When users open the QR dropdown, they will see all Available QR Templates assigned to that link template. No other QR codes will be accessible unless they are added from the Link Templates page.
